According to ESPN, Redskins QB Robert Griffin III is set to work with Terry Shea next week to get ready for training camp.
SMITTY: Robert Griffin III is extremely undervalued right now in all formats, especially dynasty. Keep in mind that RG3 once had top 12 overall appeal, given his ability to drop strong running back numbers along with his passing stats. Working with Shea will help the passers tune-up his fundamentals, and I really think the still-stud passer can return to top 5 fantasy quarterback status. Should you draft him that high? Absolutely not. Use average draft positions to your advantage, and currently he is falling into the 6.08-7.08 range, which is where you’re drafting a fantasy WR3 or one of your first bench runners. That’s steal territory with literally no risk. With Pierre Garcon coming off a fantasy WR1-type season, and with the addition of DeSean Jackson (and with Jordan Reed potentially ready to breakout into a TE1), there are grips of reasons to love RG3 heading into 2014 and beyond. Word is that Griffin (knee) is fully back to his old self!
