SMITTY: According to rotoworld, Paul has no memory at all of the hit that knocked him out, so it’s hard to imagine him being cleared through the entire concussion protocol this week. That said, anything is possible, especially since this game is Monday night, so be certain to check back with us all week (as well as ensure you are setup with Smart Alerts). The same caution goes along with Jordan Reed, but he appears to have a very decent shot at playing on Monday night against the Seahawks. Given the match-up, and all the question marks surrounding both tight ends, neither is a strong play this week even if on the field. Looking for Week 5 Power Rankings?
According to some reports, Redskins TE Jordan Reed (hamstring) will not play in Week 2; other reports suggest the team is calling the injury ‘minor’.
SMITTY: UPDATE: It sounds like he has a chance to play in Week 2 now, but clearly this situation won’t be decided this early on in the week. Stay tuned.
SMITTY: This was pretty clear right after Week 1. Logan Paulsen and Niles Paul will step up in his absence, but neither feels consistent enough to be a fantasy starter in Week 2. We just sent out a Smart Alert on potential replacements if in need at the position in Week 2.
According to reports, the Redskins could be without Jordan Reed (hamstring) for a while.
SMITTY: This guy has tons of upside, but he can’t be counted on right now.
