NEWS: Kyle Rudolph inks five-year, $36 million deal; big season awaits?

According to reports, Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph has inked a five-year, $36 million contract extension.

SMITTY: Kyle Rudolph has all kinds of upside heading into this upcoming fantasy season. He is playing for a coach that creates big numbers for the tight end position (Norv Turner), and he has show signs of elite before. He is proven, he just hasn’t had consistency, which is something Turner should bring to the table given how well he utilizes the position. At 9th-round value, which is where his ADP currently lingers, you can’t ask for more upside at the TE spot. Looking for Kyle Rudolph’s Week 1 Power Ranking?

NEWS: Kyle Rudolph in for a big year?

According to startribune.com, Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph should be in for a big year in 2014.

SMITTY: Talent has never been an issue for Kyle Rudolph, he just needs the football (and needs to stay healthy, of course). Norv Turner is good for tight ends (think Jordan Cameron last year), so Rudolph absolutely has “sleeper” written all over him entering this upcoming 2014 fantasy football season. A couple other tight ends that come to mind that have similar bargain-type value right now (according to ADPs): Charles Clay, Dennis Pitta, Zach Ertz.
