Date: 4/13/15

Looking for a 2016 Fantasy Football Dynasty Mock Draft? No, I didn’t say 2015, I said 2016! That’s right, this mock draft is for one full season from now, so when you view this mock draft, keep in mind we are all pretending like the upcoming 2015 fantasy football season doesn’t matter at all. This means that LeVeon Bell’s missed games don’t apply, it means that no rookie rushers from the 2015 NFL Draft Class will have to worry about their rookie seasons holding them back from being drafted high… it’s all about 2016+. I asked some of our hardcore forum users to participate in this mock draft, so keep in mind these results have been produced by the people for the people, I am just merely writing it up and talking about where I see value. Thanks to all who participated in this 2016 fantasy football dynasty mock draft!

Spotlight: Jimmy Graham

2015 fantasy football player spotlights

Jimmy Graham

3/10/2015: The Saints have traded Jimmy Graham and a fourth-round pick to the Seahawks in exchange for C. Max Unger and a first-round pick. The Saints needed some cap room, and getting an offensive lineman will help support a Mark Ingram-based offense. This is good news for Ingram, as Brees will still be plenty effective to keep defenses honest, but the move makes it… Read Spotlight

Hey Starters Nation:

Looking for an early 2015 Fantasy Football Mock Draft / Rankings heading into 2015? This is a dynasty mock draft, so keep in mind that players like Marshawn Lynch, Peyton Manning, Matt Forte, among others, are going to fall much, much further than they would in a early 2015 fantasy football yearly-league mock draft, but this mock draft should be rather useful to all fantasy leaguers, as for the most part things in redraft and dynasty can often times line-up rather well entering January. On that note, enjoy!

NEWS: Week 15 Monday Night Inactives

SMITTY: Robbie Gould is inactive for the Bears in tonight's Week 15 battle against the Saints; Jay Feely will kick for the Saints in this one. If for any reason you didn't know about Gould, grab Feely and start him ASAP. As for game predictions, we expect a high-scoring outing, with Drew Brees dialing up at least 2TDs, and if this game doesn't get out of hand fast, Matt Forte could be looking at a nice little stat line in this one. Alshon Jeffery is a WR1 heading into this one and Week 16, while Mark Ingram is too talented to bench, but the threat of inconsistent carries has him looking more like a RB2 in the final two weeks of the fantasy season. While there is concern about Jimmy Graham coming through for fantasy owners here in the final two weeks of the fantasy season, we feel pretty good about him being a top 5 finisher this week when this game is all said and done.

NEWS: Khiry Robinson, Robert Meachem inactive in Week 12 Monday Night against Ravens.

SMITTY: We hope to see a whole lot of Mark Ingram in this game. While he wasn’t dirt cheap coming off a 67-yard outing last week, he was a great buy-low attempt heading into this one. Ravens WR Steve Smith was also a great buy-low all week — we expect him to rebound in Week 12. If he doesn’t, consider buying low heading into Week 13. Justin Forsett should continue his successful season tonight and is a fantastic RB2 play, and with Meachem out and Cooks out, Marques Colston and Kenny Stills both return to fantasy relevance. Good luck to those with players going tonight!

NEWS: Jimmy Graham and DeAngelo Williams both active for Thursday Night Week 9

SMITTY: While he isn’t quite full strength, he scored a touchdown last week, so Jimmy Graham is a must-start unless he suffers some sort of last-second setback. Expect a lot of Drew Brees, Brandin Cooks (who should get more consistent moving forward) and Mark Ingram, who now has high-end RB2 appeal. DeAngelo Williams is set to start tonight’s battle against the Saints, but Jonathan Stewart could see just as much work. This feels like a total sharing situation. Panthers WR Philly Brown and running backs Khiry Robinson and Pierre Thomas are all inactive. Looking for Week 9 Power Rankings?

NEWS: Jimmy Graham (questionable) likely to play Week 8; Khiry Robinson ruled out?

SMITTY: Most all reports/sources are predicting that he plays, and despite playing last week and pulling in zero passes, fantasy owners almost have to start Jimmy Graham if he is playing. Even if used in red zone situations, the guy can score 2TDs in such a role. Check out where we have Jimmy Graham ranked on our Week 8 Power Rankings. As for those Saints rushers, Mark Ingram just got a huge bump (him and Travaris Cadet, who could play the PT role), given that both Pierre Thomas and Khiry Robinson are both out for this one.

NEWS: Jimmy Graham limited on Thursday, but still expected to play Week 8?

SMITTY: He will most likely be questionable this week, but most everyone, for now, expects him to play this week. Monitor him in warm-ups, as setbacks happen, but it’s extremely hard to sit the tight end if ever playing, because he can pull in 2TDs and play just a handful of red zone snaps. Plus, after playing last week, even though he wasn’t a big part of the game plan, he could play more than expect this week, we just don’t know. Looking for Week 8 Power Rankings?

NEWS: Jimmy Graham could play a red-zone role in Week 7? Calvin still doubtful in the contest?

SMITTY: It’s tough to speculate on this just yet, and Graham and the Saints still have over a day to decide. If Graham does go, even in a limited red-zone look capacity, he is a must-play, so stay on both our news wire and Smart Alerts. We will also keep you updated if any news breaks on Calvin Johnson, who is currently expected to miss this contest between the Saints and Lions. If both of these studs sit, Calvin and Graham, both Drew Brees and Matthew Stafford lose their top 5QB upside this week, but both are still must-starts (unless you have Stafford and a comparable QB with a better match-up). Reggie Bush and Golden Tate should have nice outings if both end up being Stafford’s top receiving options in Week 7. Looking for Week 7 Power Rankings?
