Looking for a 2016 Fantasy Football Dynasty Mock Draft? No, I didn’t say 2015, I said 2016! Hey Starters Nation:

Looking for an early 2015 Fantasy Football Mock Draft / Rankings heading into 2015? This is a dynasty mock draft, so keep in mind that players like Marshawn Lynch, Peyton Manning, Matt Forte, among others, are going to fall much, much further than they would in a early 2015 fantasy football yearly-league mock draft, but this mock draft should be rather useful to all fantasy leaguers, as for the most part things in redraft and dynasty can often times line-up rather well entering January. On that note, enjoy!

NEWS: Andre Johnson (concussion) back practicing and expected to play Week 16?

SMITTY: He was inactive last week but appears set to return against the Ravens. With Case Keenum/Thad Lewis as the top passers in Houston right now, it’s tough to know what you’re going to get out of anyone but Arian Foster in Week 16. AJ is a WR3 in most formats, though, and Hopkins can flirt with WR2-type numbers based on his talent alone, but again, with passers like Houston has, a dud week is just as likely as any sort of solid week. Horrible timing for Week 16. If Julio Jones sits (and he will be a Sunday morning call), make sure Harry Douglas (monitor his health) isn’t sitting on waivers, as he is a fine Week 16 plug-and-play if Jones sits. If Jones doesn’t sit, Douglas still has WR3 upside. Looking for Week 16 Power Rankings?

NEWS: Garrett Graham (ankle) expected to miss Week 14?

SMITTY: Looks like we will see more of the DeAndre Hopkins Show in Week 14. Looking for Week 14 Power Rankings?

NEWS: Ryan Fitzpatrick benched; Houston to start Ryan Mallett in Week 11 after the bye.

SMITTY: You have to think the team will lean on Arian Foster more than ever coming out of the bye. But, can Foster hold up? We love Foster, he was on the Upside Board this year among the 12 names listed on the list… however, now is a time to sell-high, as he commands a ton! Don’t sell-low, and don’t even consider selling at fair market value… sell-high or not at all. Looking for Week 10 Power Rankings?

NEWS: DeAndre Hopkins catching nearly everything?

According to houstontexans.com, Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins “has caught nearly everything” in camp and “since Andre’s been out of practice, he’s starred… can’t wait to see him battle with Patrick Peterson on Sunday night…ready for next step.”

SMITTY: We were higher on DeAndre Hopkins than just about any site on the planet heading into the 2013 NFL Draft — I still love his upside. It could take him one more year before he becomes a top 10-15 fantasy WR, but he could certainly show signs of those talent levels here and there in 2014. He is an excellent sleeper fantasy WR3 heading into August. For one more season, Andre Johnson holds fantasy WR1-type value. Looking for Week 1 Power Rankings?

NEWS: Andre Johnson reports to camp on FRI.

According to numerous reports, Texans WR Andre Johnson reported to Texans camp on Friday.

SMITTY: This is great news for Andre Johnson owners. As we’ve said several times this off-season, even though we expect to see flashes of brilliance out of DeAndre Hopkins (as Johnson slowly transitions the WR1 targets to the receiver), AJ still likely has one more top 10 fantasy wide receiver season left in him, yes even at 33.

WR Andre Johnson expected to report to camp on time.

According to Houston Chronicle’s Jerome Solomon, Texans WR Andre Johnson is “expected to be at camp on time” and “was at NRG Stadium yesterday.”

SMITTY: Andre Johnson, now 33, is winding down talent-wise if you’re examining the situation from a dynasty perspective; however, if anyone can crank out a top 4-10 fantasy wide receiver season at the age of 33, it’s Johnson. As for DeAndre Hopkins, we should start seeing flashes of brilliance here and there in 2014, as he could be a 80/1200/8TD guy come 2015. Looking for Week 1 Power Rankings for Andre Johnson?

NEWS: Andre Johnson looking more likely to report to camp?

UPDATE: (7/10/14) According to NFL.com, Andre Johnson will be an instant distraction, as the receiver doesn’t want to play for the Texans this season; four teams are reportedly interested in trading for Johnson. Johnson also is reportedly willing to restructure his current contract in order to facilitate a trade.

According to Ian Rapoport on Twitter, when asked if he show up for Texans camp, Texans WR Andre Johnson said, “Hopefully. We’ll see what happens. Camp is 3 weeks away.”

SMITTY: Andre Johnson is expected to report to camp, as his holdout has a lot to do with wanting to get out of Houston, it’s not about getting a big extension. Johnson has an ADP near the 4.10-5.02 range, which is a bargain given he still might have one more fantasy WR1-type season left in the tank. The veteran turns 33 tomorrow, and while most receivers rarely play at that elite level at 33, Johnson should be an exception to the rule. DeAndre Hopkins might start showing flashes of WR2-type numbers in 2014, which will setup an even better 2015. Johnson sits atop tier 2 receivers on our 2014 fantasy football cheat sheets.
