Looking for a 2016 Fantasy Football Dynasty Mock Draft? No, I didn’t say 2015, I said 2016! That’s right, this mock draft is for one full season from now, so when you view this mock draft, keep in mind we are all pretending like the upcoming 2015 fantasy football season doesn’t matter at all. This means that LeVeon Bell’s missed games don’t apply, it means that no rookie rushers from the 2015 NFL Draft Class will have to worry about their rookie seasons holding them back from being drafted high… it’s all about 2016+. I asked some of our hardcore forum users to participate in this mock draft, so keep in mind these results have been produced by the people for the people, I am just merely writing it up and talking about where I see value. Thanks to all who participated in this 2016 fantasy football dynasty mock draft!

Looking for an early 2015 Fantasy Football Mock Draft / Rankings heading into 2015? This is a dynasty mock draft, so keep in mind that players like Marshawn Lynch, Peyton Manning, Matt Forte, among others, are going to fall much, much further than they would in a early 2015 fantasy football yearly-league mock draft, but this mock draft should be rather useful to all fantasy leaguers, as for the most part things in redraft and dynasty can often times line-up rather well entering January. On that note, enjoy!
SMITTY: He took most of the first-team reps during Thursday’s practice, which indicates he will be back in the line-up this week (unless, of course, he suffers a setback of some kind, which is why you need to be dialed into our Smart Alerts). This is great news for Kelvin Benjamin and Greg Olsen, but Cam is still a risky play given we aren’t sure how much his back will affect his play (especially running) in Week 16. Looking for Week 16 Power Rankings?
UPDATE:Cam Newton has two transverse process fractures in his lower back, but it appears he suffered no other internal injuries, which is good news. Tony Romo suffered this type of injury, missed just one game, but had a bye in there in those following weeks as well to heal up before returning to form. With this situation, it’s tough to say if Newton will be able to play Week 15 let alone Weeks 16 and 17. Stay tuned, as this could get worse, we just don’t know. Derek Anderson would start if Cam sits Week 15.
PREVIOUS UPDATE: It looks like Cam Newton’s truck was crushed pretty bad, then Newton was loaded into an ambulance on a stretcher. Reports just surfaced suggesting that Newton is conscious and even “smiling” and that he suffered no severe injuries. We will keep you posted, but after a very scary situation, it looks like Cam is going to be ok. That said, there is some concern about his Week 15 availability until we hear otherwise. Looking for Week 15 Power Rankings?
SMITTY: This guy is a beast, and the more and more I watch him play, the more I’m starting to think he has ‘monster-elite’ ability. Trading for him now in dynasty is a good idea, before it’s too late. It might be too late in some hardcore dynasty leagues, sure, but get on our forums and draft up some offers/ideas. Sometimes it’s hard to acquire a player like this, that has already started to shine, but it usually is not impossible.

5. Jordan Matthews | PHI WR
This 2014 rookie receiving class is just flat-out phenomenal, as we are talking about the 4th receiver ranked, and this receiver can be a fantasy WR1 if he develops properly. Jordan Matthews is 6-3, 212 pounds, but he plays like he is 6-5, 225 pounds. He has a long reach and has phenomenal spacial awareness. View this exact play right here to see what I mean… if you watched that play, you should have noticed not only Matthews’ timing pulling in the reception, but his innate ability to use his body to defend the area around the football. It’s an instinct most players don’t develop until their second or third NFL season, but Matthews has a natural instinct to use his body to position the defender where he wants the defender. It’s masterful if you take the time to watch him in acton. Like Brandin Cooks, Matthews couldn’t have landed in a more potent offense. And, in Matthews’ case, the Eagles are in need of a big-time possession receiver, and it appears Chip Kelly is going to immediately lean on the rookie. Don’t be surprised if Matthews makes a strong case for Rookie of the Year in 2014! It wouldn’t be shocking if the guy pulled in 55-60 receptions for 900-1000 yards and 6-7 scores as a rookie. The rookie receiver position is changing, and these guys are maturing much faster than they use to.
