SMITTY: We have said this a thousand different ways and will continue to say it… Marshawn Lynch is a top 5-10RB when he is on the field, and he might very well start all 16 games this season. That said, he is one of the most aggressive rushers in the league, abusing his body on every carry more so than any other runner in the league. If he goes down, Robert Turbin could be called upon first, that won’t be a huge surprise, but both he and Christine Michael (top 5-10RB-capable if starting) should be owned by even non-Lynch owners in all larger leagues. If you own Lynch, you have to own these guys, or at least one. As for Week 3, we haven’t heard anything that suggests that Lynch’s back is going to keep him out of Week 3, but keep an eye on this, and sign up for our Smart Alerts in case this situation changes.
