According to ESPN, Rams WR Brian Quick could be the team’s top wide receiver in 2014.
SMITTY: He is entering his third NFL season, which is the typical season a WR breaks out; however, it wasn’t like he was showing a ton of signs of explosion coming out of 2013 (18 receptions, 302 yards and 2TDs). Then there is the concern that the team just won’t have a solid passing attack in 2014 under Shaun Hill. None of those Rams receivers, even Kenny Britt, should be looked at as anything but deep bench fantasy WRs entering 2014. We are even a bit concerned about defenses being able to focus solely on shutting down Zac Stacy, but maybe Hill can produce respectable numbers under center this coming season, it’s going to be a wait and see type of thing all around. According to numerous reports, Rams WR Kenny Britt was seeing heavy first-team reps during Sunday’s practice.
SMITTY: Essentially the same age as both Julio Jones and AJ Green, Kenny Britt enters this upcoming year all reward and no risk. His ADP is well into the double-digit rounds, if he is even getting drafted. Invest in Britt one more time, even if he has burned you in the past — There is no risk this time around, and he has the skill set to go nuts (if healthy and on the field).
