3/10/2015: According to reports, the Eagles are trading Nick Foles and draft picks to the Rams in exchange for quarterback Sam Bradford. This is quite shocking, as Bradford hasn’t been able to stay healthy for some time now, and Foles still has all kinds of upside. Now, is St. Louis the best landing spot for Foles? Of course not, but things change quickly in this league, and in 1-2 years we could be looking at… Read Spotlight
According to multiple reports, Rams QB Sam Bradford is done for the season with a torn ACL.
SMITTY: It looks like early reports that he was ok were off. This is bad news for Zac Stacy and that Rams rushing attack, as defenses will be focusing on stopping the run. Shaun Hill will take over as the team’s passer. Look for this to affect some Week 1 Power Rankings.
Update: Test results indicate no structural damage, so all signs point to this being a minor issue for Sam Bradford.
Rams QB Sam Bradford left Saturday’s preseason game against the Browns with a left knee injury.
SMITTY: Not good news for any of those Rams receivers, and this isn’t great news for Zac Stacy. Sure, the Rams could run the ball more if Bradford is out for a significant amount of time, but stopping the the run will be the focus of opposing defenses if Bradford is not under center. We will keep you updated on his progress. For now, we have Zac Stacy set for these Week 1 stats.
According to CBSSports, Rams WR Kenny Britt “is in great shape and looks explosive”.
SMITTY: The writer even says that Kenny Britt “seems like a changed man and a motivated player.” I have been super-high on Britt for going on two years — hopefully it all comes together in 2014, as Britt enters August with a risk-free 14th-round ADP. The guy has strong dynasty appeal right now given his super-low value, as he is basically the same age as AJ Green and Julio Jones — He has a lot of time left in this league if he can start delivering production that mirrors his talent levels. Checkout where we have Kenny Britt on our Week 1 Power Rankings.
