According to ESPN, Rams WR Brian Quick could be the team’s top wide receiver in 2014.
SMITTY: He is entering his third NFL season, which is the typical season a WR breaks out; however, it wasn’t like he was showing a ton of signs of explosion coming out of 2013 (18 receptions, 302 yards and 2TDs). Then there is the concern that the team just won’t have a solid passing attack in 2014 under Shaun Hill. None of those Rams receivers, even Kenny Britt, should be looked at as anything but deep bench fantasy WRs entering 2014. We are even a bit concerned about defenses being able to focus solely on shutting down Zac Stacy, but maybe Hill can produce respectable numbers under center this coming season, it’s going to be a wait and see type of thing all around. According to multiple reports, Rams QB Sam Bradford is done for the season with a torn ACL.
SMITTY: It looks like early reports that he was ok were off. This is bad news for Zac Stacy and that Rams rushing attack, as defenses will be focusing on stopping the run. Shaun Hill will take over as the team’s passer. Look for this to affect some Week 1 Power Rankings.
According to CBSSports, Rams WR Kenny Britt “is in great shape and looks explosive”.
SMITTY: The writer even says that Kenny Britt “seems like a changed man and a motivated player.” I have been super-high on Britt for going on two years — hopefully it all comes together in 2014, as Britt enters August with a risk-free 14th-round ADP. The guy has strong dynasty appeal right now given his super-low value, as he is basically the same age as AJ Green and Julio Jones — He has a lot of time left in this league if he can start delivering production that mirrors his talent levels. Checkout where we have Kenny Britt on our Week 1 Power Rankings.
According to numerous reports, Rams WR Kenny Britt was seeing heavy first-team reps during Sunday’s practice.
SMITTY: Essentially the same age as both Julio Jones and AJ Green, Kenny Britt enters this upcoming year all reward and no risk. His ADP is well into the double-digit rounds, if he is even getting drafted. Invest in Britt one more time, even if he has burned you in the past — There is no risk this time around, and he has the skill set to go nuts (if healthy and on the field).
