Date: 4/13/15

Looking for a 2016 Fantasy Football Dynasty Mock Draft? No, I didn’t say 2015, I said 2016! That’s right, this mock draft is for one full season from now, so when you view this mock draft, keep in mind we are all pretending like the upcoming 2015 fantasy football season doesn’t matter at all. This means that LeVeon Bell’s missed games don’t apply, it means that no rookie rushers from the 2015 NFL Draft Class will have to worry about their rookie seasons holding them back from being drafted high… it’s all about 2016+. I asked some of our hardcore forum users to participate in this mock draft, so keep in mind these results have been produced by the people for the people, I am just merely writing it up and talking about where I see value. Thanks to all who participated in this 2016 fantasy football dynasty mock draft!

Spotlight: Matt Forte

2015 fantasy football player spotlights

Matt Forte

4/7/2015: Matt Forte could have another solid year left in the tank, and I’m talking top 5RB-type season. However, he has some serious mileage and seven starting seasons under his belt, so it also wouldn’t be shocking to see him decline here at the age of 29. Whether it’s this year or next year… Read Spotlight

Hey Starters Nation:

Looking for an early 2015 Fantasy Football Mock Draft / Rankings heading into 2015? This is a dynasty mock draft, so keep in mind that players like Marshawn Lynch, Peyton Manning, Matt Forte, among others, are going to fall much, much further than they would in a early 2015 fantasy football yearly-league mock draft, but this mock draft should be rather useful to all fantasy leaguers, as for the most part things in redraft and dynasty can often times line-up rather well entering January. On that note, enjoy!

ARTICLE: Who are the top 20 Dynasty Fantasy Football Players for 2015?

Are you a dynasty fantasy football nut in need of some 2015 fantasy football content? Well, here is a writeup on the Top 20 Fantasy Football Dynasty Players heading into 2015 and beyond. Note, this is not a fantasy football mock draft, it is more of a value-based board, meaning you will find Aaron Rodgers and Andrew Luck a lot higher than you’d want to draft them, which ultimately means that I’m suggesting that their values are fantastic when faced off against their early 2015 Average Draft Positions (ADPs). So, again, this is NOT a mock draft, but in many cases will mirror where mocks have some of the players going in early mocks. Enjoy.View Top 20 Dynasty Players

NEWS: Alshon Jeffery (hamstring) questionable for Week 14 tonight (Thursday Night Football).

SMITTY: While we hate a player being ‘questionable’ heading into the day of the game, which happens to be tonight’s Thursday night battle between the Bears and Cowboys, Jeffery appears to be on track to start in this one. Clearly stay on top of both our news wire here and our Smart Alerts, as we will blast out an update once we have it. We expect a lot of scoring in this game. Looking for Week 14 Power Rankings?

NEWS: Matt Forte and Alshon Jeffery disappoint in Week 10; Eddie Lacy, Aaron Rodgers and Jordy Nelson Explode.

SMITTY: Aaron Rodgers was just unstoppable in this game, tossing for 315 yards and 6TDs in the Packers huge win over the Bears. Jordy Nelson pulled in six passes for 152 yards and 2TDs. Randall Cobb pulled in four passes for 72 yards and 1TD. Eddie Lacy once again was limited carry-wise (14-50/0TDs), but once again dominated in the receiving department (3-68/1TD). On the Bears side, Matt Forte was extremely disappointing, rushing 17 times for 54 yards and three catches for 27 yards, while Alshon Jeffery only pulled in six passes for 63 yards (but did have a team-high 12 targets). Brandon Marshall pulled in 8-112/1TD, but he left the game with an ankle injury and did not return. We will keep you posted on this as we hear more. Of all the Bears players, Matt Forte has the most ‘buy-low’ value, and given that Jeffery still saw a team-high 12 targets (and given Marshall is banged up), he too is a great buy-low. NEWS: Eddie Lacy could lead the league in rushing in 2014?

According to jsonline.com, Packers running back coach Sam Gash believes that RB Eddie Lacy is capable of leading the league in rushing this season. “Without a doubt,” Sam Gash, the team’s running backs coach, said Monday. “He has the capability of being the leading rusher and maybe even combined yards if he catches a lot of balls. I absolutely do think that. I think he’s a bell cow. He’s a big guy, and he’s physical.”

SMITTY: Gash isn’t alone, which is why Eddie Lacy’s ADP has climbed into the 1.04 range in many redraft drafts. He and Matt Forte are dominating the ADP data for being the 4th-ranked rusher heading into 2014. Looking for Eddie Lacy Week 1 Power Rankings?

NEWS: Brandon Marshall scores in Week 2 of the preseason; Carey looking reliable as CHI backup.

Bears QB Jay Culter completed 7-of-9 passes for 75 yards and 1TD in his team’s Week 2 preseason contest against the Jaguars. Allen Jeffery pulled in two passes for 24 yards, and Brandon Marshall pulled in a 4-yard touchdown. Ka’Deem Carey ran the ball 13 times for 36 yards and 1TD. Jaguars RB Toby Gerhart ran the ball six times for 19 yards.

SMITTY: While Brandon Marshall, who is 30, might be a player to sell-high after this season, he looks ready for another 95-100/1,300+/10TD season in 2014. I love Ka’Deem Carey in Chicago for some reason. There are many that feel he doesn’t have an every-down skill set, but I think if given the chance, he can prove very reliable in that offense. All Matt Forte owners should be sure to handcuff the two in 2014. Looking for Week 1 Power Rankings?
