According to philly.com, Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin had this to say on his knee (acl): “In some ways, I feel faster,” Maclin said. “In some ways I feel more fresh, more physically strong. I just think you put so much hard work into your rehab process that that’s kind of what happens. You get that leg back. You build that leg back stronger. So like I said, I’m really looking forward to this year.”
SMITTY: While Jeremy Maclin is no lock to stay healthy, he enters 2014 as Nick Foles’ No. 1 wide receiver. Even missing handfuls of games over the last three season, Maclin is averaging 67 receptions, 893 yards and 7.3TDs per year over the last three years. If relatively healthy, 70-80 receptions for 1,000-1,100 yards and 10 scores is not out of the question for Maclin, which puts him on the “bounce-back” map. Nick Foles essentially played Weeks 5-16 last season, and if his numbers were extrapolated over 16 games, he would have finished with 4,000+ yards, 37TDs and 2.9INTs…. being Foles’ No. 1 receiver all by itself gives Maclin monster upside heading into 2014!
