NEWS: Percy Harvin (thigh) is questionable for Week 7.

SMITTY: The good news is that the Seahawks-Rams game is a morning game, so fantasy owners will have options, even if this comes down to a last-minute call. Be sure to stay on our news wire and Smart Alerts on this one. Looking for Week 7 Power Rankings?

NEWS: Jimmy Graham said he does not know if he will play Week 7.

SMITTY: While Jimmy Graham has felt more ‘doubtful’ than anything else all week long, clearly there is a small chance he plays in Week 7. It will come down to how he looks/feels in warm-ups, so stay tuned to this news wire as well as our Smart Alerts — This could be a last-minute type update for sure. Drew Brees has a tougher than expected matchup at Detroit this Sunday, but he’d get a nice bump on our projections if Graham was able to play (and play effective). Looking for Week 7 Power Rankings?

NEWS: Calvin Johnson (ankle) needs a miracle to play in Week 7.

SMITTY: He is officially questionable, but he hasn’t practiced all week — no one should be counting on his services this week. Not being ruled out for this week is a good sign for Week 8. Then again, the Lions have a Week 9 bye, so you have to think the team will be tempted to wait just one more week, which then buys Calvin two weeks of rest. Matthew Stafford owners need Calvin back soon so that they can once again see elite passing numbers. Stay tuned. Looking for Week 7 Power Rankings?

NEWS: Carson Palmer, Andre Ellington and Michael Floyd all practicing and expected to play Week 7.

SMITTY: All three have been limited here and there this week, but all three are expect to be a go this week. Ellington and Floyd have top 8-12 upside at their positions when Palmer is in the lineup – Palmer is a necessity for that offense from a fantasy perspective. Ellington has been consistent all year long, despite his foot injury, but you have to think that MONSTER outing is nearby. Looking for Week 7 Power Rankings?

NEWS: Jonas Gray promoted from practice squad; could he crack the NE rotation?

SMITTY: This is a cloudy situation for sure, and just because Stevan Ridley is out for the year, that doesn’t make this situation easy to figure. Shane Vereen deserves double-digit carries moving forward now that Ridley is done, but will New England feed their best rusher carries? They are kind of known for doing the opposite of what you’d imagine at the running back position, and it wouldn’t be surprising if Jonas Gray, a power back from Notre Dame, somehow earned significant playing time. Granted, it won’t be surprising if he is a non-factor as well, but the point is, he deserves monitoring. Brandon Bolden is the logical choice for goal line work in Week 7. NEWS: LeVeon Bell could face a two-game suspension in 2015 for marijuana arrest?

SMITTY: The stud rusher waived the right to a preliminary hearing on this DUI chargers and is expected to enter a first-offender’s program, which will reportedly dismiss the chargers. There is a bit of guess-work going on with this, so stay tuned. Also, it’s possible Bell sees a two-game suspension because of all of this, but most sources are suggesting that any suspension would be in 2015. Bell remains a fantastic buy-low candidate for Weeks 7-16, as he has top 2-4 fantasy running back upside, yet he can be bought right now at almost high-end RB2-type value. NEWS: AJ Green still very doubtful for Week 7; Sanu to shine again in Week 7?

SMITTY: His toe is expected to keep him out of Week 7, but currently the Bengals are calling him day-to-day. Call it strategy to keep opponents honest, call it hope, but fantasy owners better prepare for at least one more week without Green; however, his status past Week 7 is sounding better and better. Mohamed Sanu is locked into high-end fantasy WR2-type value until Green returns, yet he is still on waivers in some larger leagues? Grab him, folks! Looking for Week 7 Power Rankings?

NEWS: Ryan Mathews (MCL) not yet cleared to run; the Branden Oliver Show continues.

SMITTY: You almost have to think the Chargers will hold Mathews out until after the Week 10 bye, but stranger things have happened. Clearly he won’t be ready for Week 7 or Week 8. Even if he made it on the field in Week 8, it wouldn’t be with a heavy workload. Branden Oliver is an exciting start right now, he truly is a gifted rusher with a great situation right now. NEWS: Mark Ingram to return to action in Week 7?

SMITTY: It looks like Mark Ingram (hand) could be close to “full go” for Week 7, but it wouldn’t surprise us if he was eased back either. Regardless, this just makes the Saints backfield cloudy and confusing again, as Pierre Thomas has proven to be a beast when given the touches/targets, and the same can be said for Khiry Robinson. Start any of these guys at your own risk moving forward. Looking for Week 7 Power Rankings?

NEWS: Jimmy Graham misses practice; expected to miss 2-3 weeks.

SMITTY: He is definitely considered ‘out’ for Week 7, and expect to miss at least another game, but we will certainly keep you updated should things change. For now, Ben Watson has some appeal if you are absolutely desperate at the position. Looking for Week 7 Power Rankings?
